GYTA cable is a single armored cable. Can GYTA cable be buried directly? Many customers have asked me this question, and now we tell you clearly: GYTA optical cable is not suitable for outdoor direct burial and underground burial. Because the GYTA optical cable is single armored (aluminum armor), it is not strong, and it is easily damaged by stones and other things or damaged by mice, etc., and the loss of optical fibers can even break the optical cable. GYTA optical cable is more suitable for ducting.
The structure of GYTA cable is to put single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber into a loose tube made of high-modulus polyester material, and the tube is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcement core, and for some core numbers, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded outside the metal reinforcement core. The loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing core into a compact circular cable core, and the gap in the cable core is filled with water blocking filler. The plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded into a cable with a polyethylene sheath. GYTA optical cable, our GL optical cable factory can do 144 cores. The number of GYTA optical cable cores asked by customers is many, including single-mode and multi-mode, but they are used in outdoor pipes and overhead. Some customers have also asked about direct burial. The customer wants to reduce the cost of the project, but I told him that if there is a problem after using the GYTA fiber optic cable for a period of time, it will have to pay for the current behavior. After careful consideration, the customer decided to use GYTA53 optical cable for burial. If the optical cable used by the customer is close to the fire source or easy to catch fire, the GYTZA optical cable should be used overhead or piped.
