El Gobierno ha anunciado una inversión millonaria en la instalación de un nuevo cable de fibra óptica OPGW en todo el país, con el objetivo de mejorar significativamente la conectividad y la velocidad de Internet para todos los ciudadanos.
El proyecto, que se espera esté completo en un plazo de dos años, involucra la instalación de una red de fibra óptica que se extenderá a lo largo y ancho del país, conectando incluso las zonas más remotas y de difícil acceso.
Según el Ministro de Telecomunicaciones, esta inversión no solo mejorará la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos al permitirles acceder a servicios digitales de alta calidad, sino que también estimulará el crecimiento económico al fomentar la creación de nuevas empresas y empleos.
El cable de fibra óptica OPGW, que se instalará en los postes de energía eléctrica ya existentes, proporcionará una conexión de Internet más rápida y confiable que la tecnología actual. Esto permitirá a los usuarios cargar y descargar datos a una velocidad mucho más rápida, lo que será especialmente beneficioso para aquellos que utilizan servicios de transmisión de video en línea, juegos en línea y otras aplicaciones que requieren una conexión de alta velocidad.
Además, el nuevo cable de fibra óptica OPGW también será más resistente a las condiciones climáticas extremas, como tormentas eléctricas y vientos fuertes, lo que garantizará una mayor estabilidad de la red y reducirá el tiempo de inactividad para los usuarios.
