ADSS optical cable projects are usually equipped with ADSS Optical Cable & Fittings. ADSS fittings are often divided into the following categories. What are the functions and uses of ADSS optical cable fittings?
ADSS Dead-end Clamp:
Composition: inner twisted wire, outer twisted wire, embedded ring, PD-type hanging plate, U-shaped hanging ring, etc.
Purpose: Withstand full tension. Connect the ADSS optical cable to the terminal tower, tension tower and optical cable splicing tower.
ADSS suspension clamp:
Composition: inner twisted wire, outer twisted wire, hanging components and connecting hardware, etc.
Purpose: Used as a support to suspend all-dielectric self-supporting optical cables on towers with line angles less than 25°.
Spiral shock absorber:
Purpose: The spiral shock absorber dissipates vibration energy through collision with the cable, thereby eliminating or reducing the vibration generated by the laminar wind when the cable is running, and protecting the lines and hardware.
Anti-halation ring:
Purpose: When erecting ADSS optical cables on transmission lines with voltage levels above 110KV, the optical cables are often at a high space potential, which threatens the safe operation of the optical cables. The reason is caused by the corona at the end of the pre-twisted wire fittings.
ADSS Joint Box:
Purpose: Used for intermediate connections and branch protection of optical cable lines. It can seal, protect and store optical fiber connectors, and store reserved optical fibers to protect them from external environmental factors.
Remaining cable rack:
Purpose: Used to place excess optical cables when splicing optical cables. Generally, each connector box is equipped with a spare cable rack.
ADSS Down lead clamp:
Purpose: At the terminal of the optical cable line and the connecting tower, the optical cable is led down from the tower to underground pipelines, cable trenches, and direct burial. As well as the fixation of the cables that are led down into the computer room and other places, the optical cables led from the tower are fixed on the tower to prevent them from shaking to avoid damage to the optical cables due to friction between the optical cables and the towers or other objects under the action of wind. Generally, every 1.5 meters or so Install one.
Terminal box:
Purpose: Suitable for optical cable terminals to connect optical cables and pigtails, and to protect the joints.
Hoop clamp:
Purpose: Mainly used for erecting ADSS optical cables on pole lines to withstand tension and install suspension clamps (hanging points)
ADSS Vibration Damper:
Purpose: Anti-vibration hammer is mainly used for ADSS optical cable. On OPGW optical cables and power overhead conductors, eliminate or reduce the vibration of wires and optical cables under the action of laminar wind to prevent damage to clamping hardware and optical cables.
The above are 10 types of hardware commonly used in ADSS optical cables. Each type of hardware has a different shape and price, and each type of hardware plays a different role. It is indispensable in optical cable projects and cannot be replaced by other hardware.
