●Before laying optical cables, construction and related personnel should be properly trained on matters that should be paid attention to during construction, such as the essentials of laying out methods and safety, and ensure that construction personnel obey instructions;
●Relevant personnel should be arranged to be distributed at the pay-off point of the optical cable reel, crossing obstacle points, terrain bends, etc., so as to promptly detect problems, troubleshoot, control the speed during pay-out, and reduce the tension of the pay-off reel;
●If you encounter obstacles during the optical cable laying process, you should stop dragging and dropping and eliminate them in time. Do not drag it with great force, otherwise it will cause damage to the optical cable;
●When unwinding the optical cable, the tension must be stable and cannot exceed the required tension of the optical cable standard.
When an optical cable is subjected to large tension and passes through a pulley with a small bending radius or a hard surface with edges at a small angle, the optical cable will be locally subjected to lateral pressure that is much greater than the rated value, causing damage to the internal structure of the optical cable, and in severe cases, fiber breakage.
