ADSS cable is constructed in a loose tube stranded style. Each fiber, at a diameter of 250μm, is positioned and insulated in a tube made of high modulus plastics and filled with a water-resistant compund. The tubes as well as the fillers are then wrapped around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) in the middle as a non-metallic strength member to create a very compact and circular cable core. Lastly, a thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath is installed and a stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied and held together as the strength member. Once done, the cable is covered with a PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath and is then entirely complete.

Main Feature:
